Compensation
Environmental
Compensations made with the highest technology and logistics that guarantee the growth of trees
Netwoods Foundation was born in 2015, after the desire to support the conservation of our ecosystems.
Our sole purpose is to plant trees in areas affected by human activities and / or natural disasters.
Since 2015 we have planted approximately 50,000 trees in different parts of the country, such as Envigado, Santa Helena, Lebrija, Cali and Barranquilla.
Netwoods Foundation has different places suitable for restoration and conservation of ecosystems, these points are characterized by being of high ecological importance and at the same time, for their great value for society.
These are the main places in Colombia:
Technique
A technical visit is made to know the topographic and climatic conditions of the place, in order to choose the planting design and the most suitable forest species.
After the planting day, the data corresponding to the characteristics of the planted species are taken, that is, coordinates, height, DAP diameter and phytosanitary status; which allows a correct monitoring of the seedlings.
software
Netwoods Foundation manages software that is responsible for maintaining control and logistics of forest compensation, which includes:
Monitoring
Each organization can choose the frequency of monitoring which goes from 1-3 months, depending on the characteristics of the land.
During the monitoring, a simple maintenance is carried out, consisting of: Fertilizer, plating, pruning, drainage, fertilization and fumigation (if necessary).
Reports
Netwoods Foundation delivers follow-up reports that contain detailed information on the compensation made.
These reports contain:
Mobile App
The complement of the software is the App that allows monitoring from the cell phone, in this way it is easier to take field data.
Future
In 2018, Porvenir and the Red de Niños Foundation joined together to plant 5,000 trees in Barranquilla, Bogotá, Bucaramanga, Cali and Medellín. Achieving the figure of 1,500 trees planted in half a day!
